This should make up for it however – it’s a prototype for a folding UK plug that’s both functional and efficient:

And finally… no more standing on an upturned plug! (Yes, for those of you who don’t have to live with UK plugs, what we gain from having a sturdy socket/plug combo that doesn’t fall out is taken away when you step on the damn thing in socks.)
